Yesterday i finished off the underdash tray and front speaker pods and got it all fitted and a headunit as well



At least i don't have to put up with Frizz's singing anymore

Someone shopping today saw this bug parked up at the Angel place?

Also saw another two bugs on the Taunton road one silver and one green.

Oh plus a red bay also at Angel place.

Four aircooled in one day, thoght it was summer for a mo.

Yep that was me and the red bay is one of my old one's now lives two doors away from me

My 2.5 year old spotted yours first. Got her well trained now She shouts out "Beetle car, Beetle car, ..."

Normally oldskool hardcore, but anything really with in reason

So if anyone has any oldskool hardcore tapes, cd or vinyl stashed away that they dont want anymore give me a shout cos i'll use it

I have got a couple of the 'hardcore dancefloor' tapes knocking about somewhere that I bought off Ebay thinking they were cd's.
I'll see if I can dig 'em out for ya.

Right this bug is now MINE so it's NOT going PINK anymore i'm gonna keep the it original vw met blue and most prob put the body back to stock 70's.....

And in the far future i'll be using the engine and box out of the bus in it

Just fitted my newly aquired progressive webber 32/36 once the fuel got up there it fired up and ran pretty well BUT i can't drive it cos the throttle cable snapped. I'll be popping in to GSF tomorrow and pick one up then i can give it a blasting

Cool. Did you sort out the throttle return spring OK. What you can find is the hole through which the throttle cable comes is a little too low, so the cable is angled up. You can get an extension (SSP sell them cheap) to bring the throttle arm down more in line with the cable hole. Or you can do what I did and use a stock carbs throttle return spring in addition to the return already on the carb. (I just hooked it from throttle up to base of aircleaner!). Get some pictures up here! You should notice a difference over a 31pict.

Yeah it all seems fine buddy thanks again. The old carb was a 30 pic So should be a bit better then it was . I'll get some pics up tomorrow

Only problem (if you can call it a problem) is the air filter just rubs the deck slightly

It's rubbing because you've got an earlier decklid. You can get lower profile filters which might help depending on where it's rubbing.

Bit better than the 30pict then...

I thoucht it may have been because of the early lid. It only just rubs on the corner yeah a smaller filter would work fine.
