72 bug she's back

Oh and i've still got some TOP quality floor repair panels i got with the oval so i'll probably be using them to repair it with...

Started repairing the floor, well not really but i've started something..

Starting on the N/S rear, jacking point removed, grot cleared, repair section cut to size and spotted in place..

Rich, If you are not going to use the rear repair panels I'll have them off you

Looking good dude.

Had a hour spare so nipped out and done some more this morning..

Cut the grot out of the O/S corners made the templates and made the repair sections..



Heating the metal and shaping it to fit..







Tacked in place..

..HERES THE PLANS..

Complete strip down.
Get the floor, body edges, suspension and engine tin sand blasted.
1500 or GT box.
1600 tp 1641tp or larger depending on cash at the time.
All new brakes, steering and suspension.
All new rubbers.
All new interior.
All new chrome.
Mag industry, gas burners or something along those lines.
4" adjustable narrowed beam.
Paint the floor, suspension, and tin in 2K black..
Paint the body in the OG 2K metalic blue .
Upright 70's wings, lights and rear panel.
Europa bumpers.
All fitted back together with S/S bolts ect

And what ever repairs need doing. Off the top of my head..

Both heater channel.
Drivers inner front arch.
Pair of doors.
Spare wheel well.
Front panel
Rear panel.
Couple little repairs to the floor pans

I love it when a plan comes together

Haven't got much done to the old for ages really due to being busy at work thank good..

The floor pan is now all welded and sanded back.. Well nearly all welded got about 2" left to do but ran out of wire for the first time since i bought the welder about 3-4 years ago and 4 restos on one reel of wire.

Think we've both decided that shes not gonna be done now, 5 people in a bug with camping stuff tent ect just isn't gonna happen..

Gonna do the floor and paint it then probably going up for sale is but if she doesn't sell then i'll put the grinder through her..
