Decided that the front wings needed changing before i could use it the other day so whacked them on looks loads better with the uprights on. But no pics...

I used it for 3 days wondering why it felt a bit funny to drive then on the way to the lock up i took the 'little lane short cut' very bumpy...
Then realised that the rear shocks are bolted to the front of Spennys bus

Holy shyzer dude!!!!

The rear shocks are now bolted back on

I fitted all 4 of the 70's wings, lights and indicators i got from Gaz (cheers dude) And also took the semi w off and fitted my 70's vented engine lid (still needs a 70's rear panel)...

Looks loads better then it did...

Things WILL be starting in the next couple of weeks looking forward to it big time... Gonna get dirty, burnt and a bad back normal day different car

It'll be the first time i've pulled a bug apart cos the oval was already stripped

Right got up this morning a thought i'll pop down the workshop to kill a couple hours so got there about 8ish..





Thought i'd just rip the wings off
But got a bit carried away and this happened..







Both doors off and only had to drill on screw out.
All four wings off.
Bonnet and deck lid off.
All windows are out.
All seats out...
Fuel tank out.

That was between 9-9:30.. Still had a hour is to kill so what else could i do ??

I know.......... I'll see if the body will come off easy....











And yep it did,i lifted it off and both channels are shagged but thats about it really..

What it takes Rich 3hrs to do, it takes the rest of us weeks.Im sure he has a double somewhere.

I'm in no rush, but it'll be done before i start on the bus so hopefully the bug will be completed this year..
