72 bug she's back

So is it finished then dude? Its been 3 days. I'd have expected it to be finished, resprayed, slammed and on the Show and Shine stand by now? (big tongue in cheek).

Well thought i better do some to the bug today so i ripped the engine, box, suspension and brakes off it and was let with a bare pan..

The plan was to 2pac gloss black the pan. But might just powder coat it and save me the time..

I saw it wednesday.... but knowing how rich works, it could be fully rebuilt and rolling within that 3 day space

Well i thought it was about time you had a update on the little beast..
As were selling everything i thought i best put her back toegether and all the bit's i'm keeping will sit in her till the day i feel i need to finish her off comes along...

So here she is and yes Olly you were kind of right.. She's back together and rolling.. Ready to go back into the corner she loves best, i had a little chat to her yesterday afternoon and she knows whats happening and she's kind of happy with it..

So whats going on then Rich have you gone off air cooled fella or is there something new on the horizon???

It's the new slammed!!

Bit of work has started at long last..

Started looking at the pan and have cut off the plates that were welding the pan to the body, finished striping the rest of the bit's off it..
So it's now ready to be blasted at GT shot blasting..

Hopefully it's not gonna need pan's doing just the rear corners repairing but just gonna have to wait till it's blasted..

Gonna get the doors bolted back on and all measured lined up probably tomorrow, so i can then brace the shell up straight and replace the heater channels.

Got to get it done and out the way so i can start on 'project payback'..
Gonna buy and restore a Morris 1000 secertly for the father-in-law seeing as i burnt his out completely whilst welding it up for him 8 years ago. I've decided it's for a bit of payback.. Even though the insurance paid out for it..
