PostSubject: Re: Project No Money   Project No Money - Page 4 EmptyThu May 28, 2009 8:10 pm

Got a few hours on the old girl again today, got the repair done on the O/S corner of the engine bay

Project No Money - Page 4 DSC_0188

Finished the welding inside on the rear end

Project No Money - Page 4 DSC_0191

Welded up the trim holes on the N/S and got rid of the dodgy side mount aerial Cool Cool

Project No Money - Page 4 DSC_0187

And after looking into it have decided that deseaming the roof was not the best option due to the water ingress issues that it causes Mad Suspect , so made up a section of gutter and welded it in.............lucky i'd only deseamed about a foot Laughing

Then got really pissed off fitting the rear quarter repair panel....... the wing mount holes were in the wrong place Mad so had to cut the section off and make up me own

You could always de-seam the rear quarters only for a custom touch. Would look sweet with them faded around the crescent vent area. Cool

Got some more time on the old girl today.....Fitted the master cylinder and pipe work, refitted the loom into the car and got the new body seal on the floor pan, riveted and sixaflexed in place........................was really lucky when the rivet gun fired a rivet shank out missing my eye by bout half inch pale

Got bored of tripping over the 1300 lump in the workshop so slung it in the chassis!!

Dragged the body out of the workshop ready to lift it on when Anton got there to give me a hand Cool cheers bruv Cool

Project No Money - Page 4 IMG_3567

Got the body back on and decided to see how low the front end would go

Project No Money - Page 4 IMG_3569

Will go lower but the shocks are bottoming out so need lowered shocks now recon theres another couple of inches to go Twisted Evil
