| Not long got back tonight, the car is just about there now. All that really remains are to stick in the front carpets, tinker with blocking up the gaps and holes n the tinware.
The interior is all in now and nice and clean apparat front the kick boards under the seat, they need painting and speakers putting in them.
Need to align yep the bonnet better.
My phone memory if full so I can't even open my photo gallery to upload photos.
Cleaning and polishing up to come soon.

| I worked out what was tripping the fuse for the rear lights by the way.
We didn't need to run a new wire front to rear, remove both rear lights or nothing!! Lol
There was a small wire that goes to the speedo for the dash light, two lights. One of the bulbs was missing and the bulb holder broken so the live wire was touching earth!! Bloody thing.
This car has fought me at every turn! Anyone would think it has a road phobia!

| Dear jimill fix it,
Could you fix it for me to stop my car from fighting me so much to get an mot on it so that I can take it to big bang at the weekend!!
Yours sincerely
Christopher John Genge
Aged 40 and 2 months.
FFS!!
Its going to fight me all the way!
Seam sealed the floor on the inside where dave put the patch in. Painted the kicker boards under the rear seat (went to put the speakers in and one fouls the battery) fail! Went to take off the front headlamp rims and one would not budge!! Slight damage getting it off but headlamps adjusted and left them off for final adjustment. Spotted exhaust leak on rear flanges so need to get some exhaust paste and do ts in the morning. Noticed a strange intermitant knock when the engine is running, whilst looking for this noticed the offside carb fucking fuel out the diafram, so carb out (eventually) and found that when putting the new one in, I must have pinched it when doing up the screws. Fortunately I kept the old ones which where still in good condition so replaced it, re fit and fixed, but still I wierd knock. I think it will be one of two things, either the engine bolts are not as tight as I thought, or the heat exchanger is not tight at the back of the engine. Failing that it's terminal but I thought if it was in the engine it would be more constant? Perhaps a loose head as I never checked when it was out? I have no end play and the engine runs lovely?
It's got two chances tomorrow, fingers crossed it goes through, but if not then a few more days to fuck about with it! If engine problem I won't risk it but will be obviously gutted.
