| Had a look at the lid tonight, and I have effectily gone two thin in a few areas so will have to etch it and respray it which is a shame as it looks lovely. I have also got an epic fail, but I might just leave it to see if people spot it!! I wanted to see how it would look tonight, so I hung a few parts on the shell.

what my epic fail?? you will spot it next time you are out dude. its obvious in the flesh!! lol The door is only slapped on and the light from the pic makes it look worse than it is as I had to flat part of the dark grey when spraying the two tone making it appear lighter. there is a few mm difference but nothing the trim will not cover and the door catch will lift the door to bring the level good (I hope).

| Popped over the unit last night. I see Mr Shortman has been a busy boy!! Looking amazing. I got all the little bits that were left and stripped them to bare metal then gave them a little etch primer I had prepared the bonnet and front wings last week so gave these a blast as well. Its a really shame I had so many big runs in it as the finish was pretty good. I had to stock up on a few bits I had run out of like thinners and wipes so just the little bits to top coat now and then just loads of flatting and polishing!!! I have bought lots of 1500 and 2000 grit and G3 compound and buffer head. Again, this is new to me so expect me being close to suicide when I rub through the paint!! | |

| I went out the unit again last night as I am getting excited again about it as most of the spraying is now completed and its time to make things shiny and new again!! (even though I have got loads of runs to sort out!!). I went out and sprayed the last of the little bits Then whilst I had some paint in the gun, I went over the bit on the deck lid that was a little thin. I was just about to go home after a few hours work when I had the urge to see shiny things, so I flatted and polished the rear quarter. I still have a bit more work to do on it as a few areas were missed but looking shiny and new | |

| They are but that's the way I want them. I had the option to do these but chose to keep the darker grey. It's basically where the hinges sit, and the lip for the front panel, there is a small strip between the front of the door and the lip. I forgot to paint this the lighter grey so I have a dark grey line. Easy to sort, but might even keep it.

| Started flatting the main body last night, (already gone through in a few places!! bloody hell!! doing to need a little touching up in places!!.
Gone over it with 1500 to get the main overspray and general crap finish off then next time its out with the 2000 grit then G3.
Once I have the roof and round the windows done I might just get the windows back in.
