Lol, we had a good look under it tonight and think it may be just a noise in the left had exhaust, feeling around we couldn't feel the clunk but listening to the exhaust noise it could be who knows, I'm going to give it a try, I checked that my AA cover will get me to my destination so all good.

I'm really chuffed it went through, I need to get a new horn and that's about it.

Even started putting the stereo in tonight.

Tax tomorrow and might go out for a little drive to see if it throws any more problems up before the big journey.

Felt really wierd driving it but had a huge grin on my face.

check your breakdown cover. when my van engine went tits up on the way to plymouth volksfest the other year. although i was just outsude exeter i could only be recovered one way. so if they took me to plymouth i had to get it repaired there.

well done though, good work.

If the worse case happens (I'm sure it won't) just get someone else to call them and ride shotgun to get back. It's the person that's the member not the car.

Its not going up the strip (not sure if anything will!!) Although there are conflicting weather forecast. the local one for santa pod is ok but the met office is pants. Its going to be a luck of the draw trip me thinks!!

I finished the stereo tonight after work and went for a drive. Did 30 miles and the only problem I had was the alternator light was a dim glow when I had the stereo, windscreen wipers and lights all going. Got back to the nit and found the man lead connection was very loose, tightened and all good again.

Take it for another run tomorrow if I can get the tracking looked at.

Tracking was neg 18 what ever that mean, but the steering wheel needs to be straighten a lot so guess that was bad! Lol

what idid on one was let them do tracking dw bout the wheel position then unbolt it , line it up and bam it back on, have u had it done the tracking ?

Wing repaired by joker, thanks andy, painted it tonight, flat and polish over the weekend and get it back on the road.

Forgot the camera tonight, but wing painted, flatted and ready for polishing then refit.

Then it's a case of the big clean ready for Bristol!!
