Aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhh, more tinworm!! Passenger side has no tube in the heater channel and the inner sill has gone too.
I should have some pics for you later.......
What a bummer as I was hoping to have it for Vanfest, ho hum. Looks like the body may have to come off, in which case I may strip the pan down and get it blasted and powdercoated too.
Not happy at the moment, but at least we are finding it all and getting it sorted now.

Just had another call. The gearbox casing CAN be welded but need to be removed and stripped so the guy can do it in his workshop.
As for the sills and heater channels they are going to be fabricated up and replaced, should be done by the end of the day.
I will supply pics as soon as I get them.

Thanks mate. I was a bit like 'Oh No' when we found a bit more tinworm, but I would rather it all be sorted now and to a standard that I feel I can Show 'n' Shine it.
As soon as I get the pics I will post them up.
Still hopefull of getting it back for Vanfest, if not it will be the seafront classic car show for it's first outing.

My next job is to sort out all the accesories and stuff I have bought and then work out what I actually want to fit and what will be sold on.........

if you put a persiscope on the back & front......wouldnt it just show you an image of you...lookin out the other periscope???

In fairness, it is pretty solid. The side with the bad rust is the side that wasn't replaced 10 years ago when it was brought back from the dead in a scrapyard!
