I did think about stands but it's a pain in the ass getting it up on a jack as it's so low.

I did think about stands but it's a pain in the ass getting it up on a jack as it's so low. Drive it onto a plank of wood/brick etc first. With Bella I normally put the jack under the bumper mounts or inner wing and raise her a bit like that, then shove 2 blocks under her beam, lower her onto them and then put the jack under. Not reccomended if the car isn't as solid as she is though.... no wonder she hates me

| I took the car out to Banwell this morning to get the rear wings repaired this week. It sounded better with the new exhaust fitted too. Nexxt Saturday it is going back out to Puxton for a 'tweak' and should be back for the Bristol Xmas Cruise. | |

They are Type 3 specific I think dude, as they are a tad longer......not sure if they could be 'made' to fit though.... I'll look into it for you.

| I have just started looking for a pair of NOS inner rear wings as the ones on there have been patched and I'm not sure what's underneath. Got to give Paul at T3D a bell tomorrow but he's not sure if he's still got any, so if you see any for sale anywhere let me know. Have just sourced a NOS Inner and Outer rear valance. Will be looking to get the inner arches all chipped out and body coloured. Just to decide now whether to go for the narrowed Type 1 beam conversion. Not sure how it will affect the ride though..... | |
