I doubt the beam conversion would affect the ride... try putting the slam beam you bought off arcane on the notch and see!!

Type 3 beams ride much betterthan a Bug beam. It would need a fair bit of kidding, but, that's what I am thinking of Dude.

I have 2x rear half of rear inner wings sorted and inner valance too. All NOS!
Will adjust the clutch and try again some time this week as well. A couple of people have suggested to me to slacken the cable a turn or so on the wingnut as the slippage is only at higher revs in higher gears.....

thats what Dan had,(but had to change the clutch) ......hope it will work ,let us know how you get on

Hmmm, when I said I had found an inner rear valance I hadn't been told that I had to have the outer too, and that I would have to go and collect the panels as the guy refuses to post them, and that he wants £500 for them.
I know they are NOS, but didn't expect to have to pay that much.
Bit more homework is required I think.
