| A couple of pictures, everything apart from the doors is now in filler primer. new door skins fitted, i managed to pick up some nos ones at vw evolution in westbury. n/s/had the right door handle recess, but was for pre 64 door so it was cut and joined above the swage line in door, then leaded up, it seems to have come out pretty well. the o/s/door was the correct window aparture but the wrong handle recess, so cut the right recess out of an old door and let this into the new door in the correct position it should be in. and the door has come our pretty well and fits pretty good. now just got to get them prepped, etch primed and filler primed. then the ball ache of flatting the primer down. n/s/door, i know it looks really rusty, it isn't it from the flux during leading. it will sand off really easily.   o/s/door, with new handle recess grafted in.  all 4 wings are now in filler primer inside and out.    all the dash parts are all primed as well. andy | |
