Lead has been used, on front 1/4 panels, on the roof each side, rear 1/4 panel joints on b and c post's , each heater channel at the parts re shaped, to make them like early channels.

"The Joker 67" Bug resto - Page 12 DSCF0007-3

heater channel bulge cut out and new metal let in, welds ground down.

"The Joker 67" Bug resto - Page 12 DSCF0009-2

all leaded up to seal the joint from moisture and hide the welds.

the lead has been sanded down and then a skim of filler to straighten up.

I have finally got the shell into filler primer, now goint to let it sit for a month so it can cure properly and if it sinks back it will do it in that time, now on with the panels.
