| yep standard discs and calipers. got them from machine 7, german discs and trw calipers.
ive got to re-paint the calipers though. chipped the paint.

| i only wondered as the engine is only 1641 isn't it ?...i remember my mate put some on his rs turbo and they were noisey...it always put me off buying tham ,but his were grooved as well ,so it may be the grooves causing the noise | |

i had drilled and grooved on my rs turbo, they warped with in 1 month also had ebc red stuff, i was told they need running in hard as designed for heavy breaking, truth or not im not sure. This bug is going to be another of my favs for sure, nice work andy | |

| With those sticky pads to hold the loom in place in the engine bay andy, I hope you have screwed them to the firewall as well, as soon as you get a little bit of heat near them, the glue will fail, and the loom will be sucked into the fan! I know, I've seen it happen.
Unless you are fitting the proper fire retardant soundproofing over it all anyway!
