My 65 split bus

Thats too subtle, you gotta write it in big black letters on the sofa, or write it with yellow paint on the ceiling- that way you can guarentee she knows what you want. I have personally been leaving my surfboard in the lounge for the last 2 weeks and making comments such as 'if i had a board bag this could live in the garage'....

She doesn't need any hints bud i TOLD her what i WANT..


And thats the problem cos in my house i WANTS don't get..


I'm gonna be writing a letter to Santa with my christmas list so you never know..

So what your saying Rich is that you think you got more chance of getting it off Santa than Frizz then? ...... Have you been a good boy all year long, eh?

I think i moght have to bolt her back together as is for now cos i'm far to busy with other peoples stuff, rather then having both my dubs stripped and out of use..

Got mine all painted up ready to bolt on when me bus comes back from straight axle shop..

Dude no updates at the moment i've got far to much work in and out at the moment to even touch my own stuff.. But in the new year i'll be all systems go..

Well got a little bit of flatting done on the O/S and on the front panel...
it more work done to the roof and a couple coats of high build primer went on there..

And the Sprints are sold with tyres so just ordered my new front tyres so i can get the steels on. Hopefully in time for the Bristol cruise..

Well the sale fell through at the mo... But my new tyres turned on today so they'll be fitted to the steels tomorrow...

The rest of the bus could be back together with a slight difference...

Ummmm no dude i haven't, just imaging there faces on thesamba if i did..


Got a fair bit done yesterday..

Pulled it all apart again changed the gaskets on the gearbox for the 4th or 5th or may be 6th time to try and cure the leak.... May be it's worked this or may be not...

Rusty merged header gone and my stainless header and box now fitted..

Deep sump gone.. for better ground clearance..

New slam tyres fitted to my crappy steels and all 4 steels now fitted..

Bit more body sanding done..


But i can't get pics on the lappy at the mo for some reason

All i can say is she's looking proper gay..
Should get her built back up together and back on the road today..

Rich, I'll bring those steels down for you on Saturday dude if I get a chance, but sounds like no rush at the moment as you say you got the old steels on for now

No mate not going that far... I nearly tubbed it today but then realise that i'll need to custom make a front seat and get it trimmed.....
