Right pulled the motor out and started to disconnect the gear and found this.........










One drive shaft in 3 bits.. ... Should get the box out tomorrow and have a good check of it..

Perhaps he needs to be introduced to Spence and Java!!!

That would suprise the crap out of him!

As long as the speed humps didn't bugger up Java's gearbox as well

my old short shaft went down the scrappy last week dude

Think he has one sorted but if things go twits up i am sure he will buzz you..

Tis all pulled apart now and also found that when the shaft went it fooked a wheel bearing

I've changed both shafts, a new wheel bearing and new gaskets (again ) Lets hope it does leak again..

Gearbox is back in so is the engine, just need to connect the motor up, change the throttle cable and refit the rear brakes then all should be good............. Fingers crossed....

All back together.. New throttle cable, modded the s/s exhaust so i can get the bumper on, finished straightening the engine lid after the silly fu(ker drove in to it..
Gearbox has new gaskets again..




Just need to throw so fuel in it so i can try the gearbox fingers crossed i done no damage to it...

that would be my tactic!

Poured some fuel in her fired her up adjusted the clutch and took her for a blast... Couple hardish launches and a bit of rear end action and all seems good

I've been told the same thing since i started walking.. Do i listen..

And the gearbox STILL DOESN'T leak

As you know i snapped another axle...

But she's back on the road for a while..

The home brewed straight axle kits all BALLSED so that'll be going in the bin cos it's litter.. So is the 1500 box...

The GT box is now in capable hands get rebuilt. I've gotta sort new axle straight axle kit, rear spring plates, new brakes and bearings and shot blast some long axles and paint them the gearbox may get a coat of paint as well..

Then put it all back together and see if it lasts

The finish deadline for her is just under 11 weeks away now..

Swap gearboxes
Rebuild rear suspension
Rebuild rebrakes
Restore wheels
Fit front air shock
Sort and fit compressor for shocks
Tub front arches
Build custom front seats to clear front tubs
Restore the steering wheel
Prep the body
Paint the fooker inside and out
Finish building the interior


The dealine is CTTP... But would like her done for Volksworld which is about 9 weeks..

Time to get to work on her...
But it's not easy when she's your daily
