That's a real bummer, as if they don't take enough off us already. I know how it feels when you haven't the extra cash available. So easy to do 40 in a 30, 30 seems so slow these days.

I'm not saying we should all race around at daft speeds, just so easy to break the speed limit without even trying.

Yes i totally agree. I wasnt even speeding in my Golf... i was at work in my transit. But i drive all over the country covering 700+ miles a week so its bound to happen sooner or later.

I got a 400 pound fine , and 4 points ....53 in a 30 .....but it was on that striaght bit going to draycott....nothing but fields either side ,the week before it was a 40 limit ....they stuck a van there to catch people out ....I had to go to court .....in flipping taunton!!

Bloody Hell, when was that Nomates??

i got banned for doing 72 on beach road when i was about 20/21.
14 days, got my licence back with 13 points on it (on a 12 point licence), £300 fine on top too..
Wouldnt mind, but i'd borrowed my old dears car to drop a bird home at 3 in the morning.
First thing she knew about it was when the letter came through..
Managed to get a hooky cover note sorted otherwise i'd have been had for that too!

I didnt get my tea cooked for me that night....

Right, havent updated this in ages.

I experimented with that Carbon Fibre 'wrap', getting a free sample from my misses work so i could play.
Luckily that free smaple was just the right size to do my steering wheel.



Looks really good, and its textured exactly like the real stuff, so would be hard to tell the difference between real and wrap.

Fitted a TRS Racing approved tow strap, mounted it directly to the Chassis for strength and poked it through the Fog light hole in the bumper



Made myself a Centre console so i could have Oil pressure / Oil Temp gauges.
Its not a perfect fit, but only took an hour to make and it does the job



Me and my co-driver set about playing with the ECU via the Laptop.



As most of you prob know, i put the car up for sale just over a week ago, and she sold yesterday to a Lad called Dullah Kahn near London. He mentioned on the phone that he may spray the car black.
But abnyway by the end of today hopefully he will come and collect it once he sorted his insurance out.

So, i gave her a clean and took MORE photos!

I think there may be a tear in your eye when she drives off up the road.

Cheers fellas it means a lot. Yeah im not ashamed to say that i actually cried at the dinner table. Infact its the 1st time my girlfriend has ever seen me cry!

The new owner (mohammed Dullah Kahn) drove KAT like a complete C*nt tbh, got upto stupid speeds in a 30 limit, i had to shout at him to slow down! And in a way im glad he bought it as i dont expect she will last too long driving her that hard. The lad already has 9 points on his liscence so i expect him to be banned pretty soon.
He already has plans to take the cage out, respray the car black, and fit a huge sound system in the back.

But anyway i have a huge wad of cash in my hands which is exactly what i wanted, picking up a new car one evening this week, im not saying too much yet but the car is a Cat C write off, and i will only be using the Engine and running gear which will be transplanted into a 'practical' VW i have sat on my drive right now.

Watch this space!

Just so everybody knows. Ive been proper done. I got a phone call from the new owner at 11pm last night saying the clutch had gone. I pre- warned him before he bought it and it even states in the advert that the clutch system needs a bleed ideally. Anyway i apologised etc etc. Next phone call was at midnight, he cant lock the boot!!!

Anyway enough was enough and i turned off my phone.

Wake up this morning, turn on my phone to find 6 txt messages. all abusive and demanding he wants the money back as he feels i have robbed him. The fact is he made it from Cleeve - Oxford in an hour goes to show he wasnt hanging about!
I txt him back politely that the car was sold as seen, he signed the reciept to back this up, etc and im very sorry but i cant do anything about it.

He proceeds to ring / txt me all day demanding he wants money back, and he has had 6 mechanics look at it today and all said its more than just the clutch! hmmm...

I then get a phone call at 2pm saying the keys dont work in the doors!! I lost my rag with him at this stage and was pretty short tempered with him, turns out he was using the wrong key in the door! F*ck sakes!

2.45pm rings again.... car wont start!! Fuel pump wont even prime or anything. Grrrr.
He is putting the car on a tow truck and coming to my house, he wants a full refund 'or else'. When i refused and said ive already sent the logbook off, and banked the money he then said he will take £3000 for of goods from me as payment if i like it or not. Either way he wants his money!

This is when i got the Police involved, they gave me a reference number, noted all that i had said and told me they cant do anything until he steps foot on mine or my parents land, then i must call 999 straight away!! Hmmm helpful

So here i am waiting for the car to turn up, not sure what to expect to be honest.

He sounds like a moron who has hammered the car and is now wondering why she is kicking back at him. Do everything above board and call the dibble as soon as he arrives, might be an idea to have a camcorder placed somewhere.

Yeah i got a cue of mates who are up for a meet and greet. But the trouble is now the police have made a record of it i cant do anything seen to be 'provoking'. The Police have told me not to get in contact with him again and not to answer his calls / txts which is a bit of a pain as i dont know when he will be coming. I cant sit and wait at my parents till early hours of the morning. The main thing im worried about is the cars at my parents house, you all know what my dad does and what he's got and to have any of that damaged would be disaserous

I feel for you Dude, and it is/was evident how much you loved KAT and the amount of time you poured into her. One bit of advice from me would be to be careful what you put on line, either on here or FB. Keep your comments factual and keep any derogatory comments off, including replies, just in case the Dibble do end up getting involved.
