| Right finally bought a set of drop spindles then fitted them. This left the poor bug on the floor. So i put the beam to the highest setting and now i am off the floor. JUST. Next job is paint the Beam and get the 165/50/15 tyres i have just received in the post fitted. I also purchased a 6 Ton press in the hope that i can now do my own ball joints as they are pretty shot. | |

| Cheers scoops, got to admit feels good getting back in and fiddling with dubs again. Roll on Big Bang. Got the new tyres on the front but in about quarter of a mile i smashed the road hard at least 10 times lol This means i am going to cut the bottom of the towers(think thats there name lol) off and put some strong steal in there. Also get a skid pan made up for her for some great sparks and protection Big_Als idea. Stance wise i am very happy with. | |

| Looks ace mate, funny thing is, the older I'm getting, the more I prefer a comfy ride rather than looking cool!!
How much was the press BTW.

| £65 on ebay for the press and it's not bad quality either. Took 24 hours to arrive and was free p&p. Not used it yet though.

| Hi Carl
Did you fit the Ball Joints in the correct direction in the arms?
The lowered ones (not sure if yours are standard) can only be fitted one way, to allow the travel front to back. I think they have a tab or notch to show the direction to line them up with the arms.
Did you check the new ones for movement before fitting them?
Perhaps they are stiff when new, I don't know. Cheers Pete.

| Couldn't move them by hand they are that stiff new. They have 2 notches out of the base of the ball joint so I marked the arm with the old ones and pressed in the new ones matching the marks. They point to front and rear of car I hope that's right as never done them. | |

| The gaps are in front to rear direction, as this is the movement. If still worried mail me and I will look in Bentley manual. They are really stiff at first | |
