Engine's in and half way through overhauling the brakes. Also replaced the hub oil seal.
I needed some rags to mop up the oil that ran out of the axl tube, so I looked through the pile of cloth that Rach has(while she was at work), and picked out the most sh*t lookin.... Turns out it's only the most expensive!... Best £35(per yard ) she's ever spent!

You got any windows made yet mate apart from the front screen

If all goes well tomorow, it should be ready for little road test.



I've still got some of the old perspex to go in, but have got to finish off fitting the last bits of the headliner first.... Though I do have a lead on where I can gat some glass cut!

Got the engine fired today. Still needs a bit of setting up and servicing, but I can see the finish line now!

Got in a few hours today. Got the last few bits of the headliner in and cut and fitted new rear lexan windows... Much better than the cheap polystyrene that was in there before!
Took a bit of persuasion with a ratchet strap to get them in though!

ferck me that must have been tight and I though getting my windows back in were hard work......looking realy cool Dave keep the progress up dude

They're 6mm lexan dude!... I used the original ones as a template and cut some new ones... They're tough as f*ck! Was really hard work to bend the rear one, so ended up bending it round with a ratchet strap!

Fitting windows Dirty dave style......... Get a fu(k off great ratchet strap and you'll be fine..
