| Glad you liked it! Today, I decided I don't, and it needs new paint asap! But not too sure when that'll be! After the warning of rain I thought I'd have a go at cutting the glass! Thanks for the loan of your glass cutter Nomates, I'll drop it back round to you, as I've ran out of glass to try cutting! I'll sort out some lexan, to keep Rach quiet! | |

| Every piece of glass is in the bin! Thanks for the offer Spence, but I'm gonna go with lexan! Even with Steves glass cutter I only got 1/2 inch into them before they poped! I'm undecided whether I should have a go at sanding some glass down rather than cutting it?! .... It's just a bloody lot to sand off!!! | |

| no worries dude,,was it the heat or the vibration which popped the glass? have you tried cutting with a real fine disc.....i know thats how they cut the stuff up at work...however be careful as the dust it real fine and its not very nice to breath in | |

| Spence beat me to it, glass dust is real nasty stuff. I know you are a hands on kinda guy (Crumbs) but I would suggest getting someone in the trade to cut down the glass dude... I reckon it will solve a lot of problems!! | |

| Morning Dave, Think I can solve all the flat glass worries for you dude! Talking about your car to my mate on the train yesterday & he got a laminated flat screen made up for his jeep at Jason King Glazing on the Milton Road (on the opposite corner to the bridal gown shop). He said that they did a decent job & wasn't at all expensive Take them in templates and they'll cut it all for you .... sorted! |

| Thanks guys I'll look into it! When I tried with a grinder the first time, it was getting too hot! I laid it out on some old foam and blankets each time, to damped the vibration, but this didn't seem to work! I now have both perspex rear side windows in properly, in the rubbers! It makes the chop look alot lower, and they're alot more sturdy than I thought they'd be! | |

| Cheers dude! To be honest I'm really not happy with it at all! When I park up and people come up to me and say how much they like it etc (this happens alot more than I thought it would ), then I'm quite proud and pleased with it for a bit!.... Other times I look at it and think it's a mess! A cool looking mess! but still a mess! I can do much better! Considering it's been only 17 days, chop to paint, it aint bad! With more time on it I know I can do a real nice job..... But to be honest I think I'm starting to loose interest in the 66! There's a couple of cars that I've wanted to build for a long time, and I'm wondering if it's time to cut my losses with the old girl and start fresh?! | |

| Noooooo, get the 66 rubbed back and prepped and painted Dave, I am sure you will feel completely different if she was looking like the picture you had in your head when you started....... | |
