I arrived late helped a little to sand down the primer on the car....got to watch dave stick the first coat of silver base on looking good when i left.....i reckon it will be in candy by the early hours

Just got home. The '66 is all in candy but we've had problems. The candy paint has reacted to any filler on the car, and as the guys can vouch for, there is a lot of it!!

Where the is no filler, the paint is amazing, but where there is filler, its pants!!

Ah well, its in paint so it will have to do for now, maybe re-do in the summer in matt black. The candy is horrible stuff to work with. Would not do it again!!

On the plus side, as thanks to me this weekend, Dave is geting me a rabbit!! BTW anyone want to buy a fish tank?? That was the last pet i wanted, but then realised im scared of fish!!

Oh and Weston on a sunday night haven't been there for years but still had a few chavs try and race me even a bloke in a Esort cossie i think i pi$$ed when he was reving it up at the lights and i just looked and laughed and he messed up the pull off so i got part way through second gear before he went passed me

Thats a bummer about the paint after all the hard work you guys have gone too....more than happy to help wish i could have helped out more what with all the help dave has given me....you folks are a great couple and if you need anything in the future just shout....What ay gonna call the rabbit??

Thanks to everyone who said they would come down today, but as the co-owner is on the war path and we've had a warning from Dave's boss, we cant have anyone down there till prob after 6 tonight! Thanks anyway thou.

No idea what we will call the rabbit, but hopefully gonna get the car all finished off today, all back together and ready to drive out of there tonight.

i had the same thing with the chavs trying to race we down the bypass! I think it was becasue i over took them going round the roundabout! (i can recomend the anti-roll bar upgrade on a van!!).

Well, I already have 1 woodstore but I want another one next to the garage so I can dry/season the wood through the summer for next winter.....
