Those Empi's need a twatting with a polishing mop dude!!

First thing on the fabrication list is a polished stainless steering wheel (banjo style) and Willys coupe' style headlamp rims (pointed at the bottom).

I'm not gonna bother with the Empi's at the moment, as I'm toying with the idea of spindle mounted, straight lace, wire spoke wheels. (Just an idea at the moment. May end up referbing the Empi's )

For a split second, I thought that was something serious!

Managed a bit more polishing today: Drivers door and front wing. Just the deck lid and possible a little on the bonnet left to do.
Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow to start bolting things up properly.

Rich, the front wheels are still as they were.... For the time being anyway.

It just looks very clean i thought may be youd polished it..

I only polish things once mate!... They were done in 2000... Though that front one does look good.

Aiming for the end of Feb to get it on the road (Rach's orders!).
She's doing well, but not enjoying being the size of a house!

I was getting tiered of the paint. But now some of the chrome is going on, I'm loving it again!

Little more progress. Gave the floor a good clean and a coat of hammerite. And a few other odds n' sods bolted back on.

Got a few hours on it today. One step forward two steps back though!
While there's no engine in I changed the rear axl gaiter. Went really.
Then the clutch cable... Had to remove the pedals to do this. They were so rusted in there they didn't wanna come out! First part to break was the throttle linkage. Pryed and beat it so much it streched half inch before shearing. Then the left hand side mounting plate. Thought I'd use the oxyacetylene to expand it a little. That didn't work! Ended up beating it till it broke!
... But the pedals are out and a new cable's in!
