No im being harsh buddy, what im getting at is to get it how id like it is perhaps going to take more cash than i envisaged thats all, which with hindsight would've been better of putting into a different car to start with... if that makes sense... (just having a whinge mate, its been one of those days!)

As for reliability who knows, its not the same engine, time will tell, if its shite its not the end of the world!
I guess thats the beauty of sub 700quid motors Cool
As for the leaks, ive been looking at koi carp lol!

I know exactly where you are coming from here, but I will say that Koi carp are very difficult to look after.

Good, but being thorough, or trying to!
I don't want to just do the bare minimum, but the budget is tight... I've set a date in my mind that i'd like it on the road by 1st of dec, so I don't have to skimp on things too much by rushing, its nice to get second hand bits cheap, but a few shiney bits are nice too...

Got leccy washer kit today, and tarted up one heat exchanger ready to go on, think the other one that was holed is shafted tho to be honest, the mech inside is sticking so will prob need another...

Ordered some proper centre caps for the wheels from VW Java as well Cool

Yep they are, but won't be for long...

Will be going for fully polished - without the random blue bits either! I can't remember who it is on here occasionally who has them on his bug but they look best like that in my eyes...

Thats the one! If they come up half as good as that i'd be happy.

Leccy washers in and working, popped a switch on the dash to fill one of the holes left by the push button malarky. Didn't even have to aim the bastards, result!
Stubborn j tube removed.
