When I heard he was really 'dirty' I didn't think he needed constant washing, I just assumed he had spent too much time with Wurz!!

Got new 4 into 1 and turbo trip delivered today, fitted header, but old j tubes seem to be modified to fit the old header somehows, anyway they were to short and out of line to be connected to the new one, which was annoying as i was looking forward to firing up and scaring the fuck out of the old man.

Got one j tube off, and managed to undo half of the other before the fading light got the better of me.

Looks like it will all connect up with some new ones, but i think i am going to bite the bullet and buy some brand new heat exchangers so i can be sure of them working, also need the insulated pipes that run underneath the car.

cool ....so its worth saving then ......before you send out on heat exchangers .....can you prove that the heater tubes are all in good order .....if not they will be a waste of spondoolies

Did you edit yourself then?!
No I dont think its worth saving, but kim wont let me sell it!!! I think its the beginning of a nightmare to tell the truth, but I am viewing it as a challenge rather than a chore! Brave face and all that.

No I cant prove the channels are any good. There is lots of visable rust, but no obvious outer holes. How else could i check other than to connect the exchangers do you reckon?

I'll get her indoors to chat down the inlet then!!!

Stealing the hairdryer could be risky, airline and blow out all the rust sounds like a plan, will try and pop round with the work truck, don't think old parse has a comp at home.
