Thanks ....yes the grey beetle came with a set of 'day moulding' wings ...I hear a lot of good comments a bout the quality of these wings ... In the case of my beetle ...originality has (sadly) gone , so fitting fibreglass wings is exceptable to me .... Plus all the plates /filler gone ...replaced with thin cheap repair panels ,fiber glass wings ....the car should weigh less .... .... good for my little 1200 engine | |

| Ok ...quick update ,as I'm waiting to make some real noise .....and my neigbours aren't up yet ... removed the wings to weld up the front end ..... bumper mounts removed and horn bracket welded in place started on the rear inside corner ...this panel was cut out of the other beetle before it was scraped filled and etch primed the front inner wing and the passenger door then I cut most of the rear quarter off the snow didn't stop me | |

| Well spotted dude ....thanks ,I hadn't noticed that !! ... however I did line up the swage line in the panels ....so if the trim holes are out , there is nothing I can do but to re-drill them ....I guess its just pattern parts | |
