| This is the Bug I purchased as a runaround - its not getting a resto, just a tart up - get it running that kind of thing. Its never gonna look good, but it must work dammit This thread is for me to keep a record of what im spending on it and for you lot to bollock me if i say im going to sell it coz its poo. 1970 1300 D/L Bug, Originally Blue, Sprayed badly yellow 1500 H Engine Interior can now be described as 'minimal' , after I tore out the appauling tiger print pimping. A few of you have seen it already and know of my bad luck with regard to every panel being rotten to buggery, the starter motor incident, the loosing the brakes incident and the bristol cruise incident Pics as purchased... It already looks a bit different, hopefully it will soon be roadworthy and more reliable. Updates to follow shortly, advise and encouragment welcome | |
