| well, here goes..... Ta da my freshen up rebuild 1641 single porter! No frills & 2 bits of cheap chrome (out of neccessity cos' chrome dont get you home!) no tarting, back in tommorow so please pray it runs ok! PS excuse the state of the garage | |

yep! pulled it out thinking it was a 1300cc, cleaned off the crud on the engine number & found out it was a 1500. Broke it down, new bearings, full gasket set, new mahle 1641 barrels n pistons added, cleaned it up..................ready to roll....hopefully! Was done on the cheap as a stop-gap cos i want a 1776/1914 by the end of the year but there just aint the cash right now, so if it goes pop i aint gonna cry | |

| yeh, his names joe & he gives me £10 a week to kip in a rolled up carpet!! Usually not this bad but had bits of bug everywhere so aint no point tidying up till the engine/interiors in. | |

| well, the engines in, engine bay cleaned up n repainted 1st (not sure bout the silver?) did it on my own again but took considerably longer than the half hour it took to get it out........try 3 times that! Havent run it yet cos the dark outran me before i wired it up & its brass monkey cold out there also got no exhaust on till tomorrow cos the econopack needs a lil fettling to fit properly hope to run it up tomorrow guys | |
