I gotta start work on the 1303 soon (gotta finish vwbeetlebums welding first!)

Here she is as of yesterday (22-10-06)

I know 1303's aren't everyones cup of tea
but its aircooled and its a bug

Whats the plan impy? Are you keeping it the same colour? Engine mods? Interior revamp?

Sounds like you're planning a 'german looker' .. nice

its kinda the only look that works well with the 1303

although if any1's got any suggestions i'l listen!

PS:- Oh yeh, me front calipers turned up yesterday so yay brakes!!

You can powder coat your whole car if they have enough room, i used to work for a powder coater (powdex) in bridgwater shut down now though and we were gonna do one of my Mini's

Any1 know of a good local engineering firm who can redrill me disc/hubs/drums to suit the porsche stud pattern??

you could use C & T engineering in Weston....the owner of the business is Paul and his son has a 71 Beetle he was at our first meet at the quart....

Besides its not shoddy any more its now pretty solid!

picked up me cookies last night (cheers Dave) & lookin to get the hubs/brakes sorted to run em in the next couple of weeks.

Then its engine out for a freshen up & mot time;)
