| Wipers. It said I can use it on wipers but some people have said they're not idea. But - I'm only planning to use the wipers for MOT day, so hopefully it won't be used much!
I've since moved it off the sticky wotsits and screwed it down, as (like you said) they're supposed to get quite warm.

| You'd better check (as I'm nearly alway's wrong) but I always had the impression this voltage dropper was nowhere near man enough for wipers ,
if you decide to find out ....let me know how you get on I'd really like to know what its capable of

| I've tested it, and the wipers do work with it fitted. Not particually fast - but then again I don't supposed they would be on 6v! They go about the same speed as our Split does on 12v tho | |

| Well the amount I'm planning on using the Bug and the wipers is minimal so it should last a while | |

| It should be at least a 75 Watt resistor (about 1 ohm). What's written on it?
You can get those resistors cheaper from somewhere like RS i would imagine.
As someone said they're not the ideal way to drop your voltage down.

Got the engine lid tightened up - still fits crap but the hinges are pretty past it so I don't think we're gonna get it any better! Drillled some holes in the inner wings to fit the rear valance and fitted that too. Spent over 3hrs getting the exhaust to fit - it's never coming off again!!!! Having a few problems with shocks tho - the tie rod hits the driver's side one when turning left and the rear shocks have no travel left So looks like we'll be having to raise her tomorrow for MOT purposes then sort out the shock problems afterwards. Will this solve it?

| I wish!!!! She turned and tried to fire every now and then but didn't splutter into life I think perhaps the dizzy is out, but I dunno enough about engines to get it right! I think we may have flooded her, so we let her rest for a while, then it started raining so we had to fetch Joey in - so dunno when we'll get the chance to try again! | |

| I'd like to take the credit for it, but we can't Jim (Tofufi) ran me through setting up the dizzy on msn whilst I was sat behind Bella with the lappy The first time we tried her she made a MASSIVE bang tho!!! And a couple flames I screamed quite loud We think it was fuel built up in the exhaust from us trying her earlier. We tried her again and she fired up lovely and was idling fine Gonna go get a video of her running in a bit | |

| Here's a small vid of the engine running - except as soon as it started it was almost out of fuel and quite promptly stopped Battery needs charging now! https://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a309/Shamrockez7/Bella2/?action=view¤t=PIC_0136.flv She did idle much faster than that and ran quite nicely on her own when we first got her to run | |
