| After have a little chat to Paul he said he thought the dizzy could be to blame for the bus being guttless and said to put a stock one on and bin the 009.... Well i couldn't find a stock one so pinched the 009 off the bug and sh1t the bed she's loads better then she ever has been It took me just under 45 mins to get from mine to exeter GSF this morning and under 1/4 tank of fuel Anyway nipped in to Cleverchaps and collected my towbar (cheers dude) so thats now fitted had to weld a couple mounts to the chassis, it clears the deep sump and the merged header just just had to twisted the oil filter slightly... The only problem is the lowest point of it is under 2"... And when i pull away hard the bar hits the floor But the rear shocks are pretty soft so gonna sort some stiff ones and see if it's better.. | |

| Yes mate we'll have the trailer in tow IF i can stiffen up the rear suspension a bit... The towbar now hit's the floor when you boot it in second, don't think the little chavs in weston liked it earlier | |

| Finally after over a year of ownership i've got the bloody hydraulic lifters set correctly.. Also changed the dizzy, fuel pump and fuel filter. Now she goes loads better, not sure if i'm gonna bother changing the heads it's that good.. Fitted my towbar with very little ground clearance Popped out with the trailer tent in tow for about an hour just cruising around and it all seemed great.. | |

| Oh and the trailer only drops the rear suspension by a max of 3mm so not to bad.. I may pop down with the kids and chuck 8 wheels and tyres in the back as well then hitch up and go for a drive... | |

| Good work Rich my ol' mucker! I know the feeling today ...... I drove up to the Forest of Dean 6 up in the bus & a trial fit of the prototype new interior, so she was a bit more lardy than usual & I was really impressed at how she handled .... Just got to get my new mystery engine back to Somerset, fitted in the bus, add the GT box & narrowed beam & she'll fly with all her new gear! |
