My 65 split bus

Well i odered the tyres last night
Fronts 165/50/15's
Rear 195/60/15's

Oh i can't wait to get the van on some shiny rims, i'm getting close to selling it cos it's ugly as fuc$ i hate the bloody thing, But it's all about to change and i will love it like i loved the god damn crewy

Its gonna look bitchin mate!

Santa has visited my house today but he use's a Business post van now

When i got home from work there was a note through the doo"SORRY WE MISSED YOU" my bloody tyres turned up and went again .

But i gave them a ring and they'll deliver them back to me tomorrow for an extra £11
But hey at least my new wheels will be on tomorrow afternoon

The rear wheels wont fit on the adaptors on the bus cos there shite and the ones i got from Harv the bolts are to short

Give it a couple of days then my machine7 wide 5 drums will be here then the bloody wheels will be on But i might put the fronts on later

Sodding typical mate! If you want to keep the adaptors thats fine, if you want to give em back I will throw them in the back of the shed with the other 'I will never need them again shite'

He won't hassle me cos i told i'd weld his adjusters in the wrong so it'll go higher not lower


Well i spoke to Machine7 about the drums and they're on bloody back order from Germany

So i have to wait longer now

Cant you get the existing drums redrilled at an engineering firm??

Yeah i had the ones on the Crewy redrilled machined flat but i'd rather get some proper drums this time, cos thinking about it the drum isn't as thick as it should be where it'll be drilled, so i'll just have to wait for them to turn up ..

Well got impatient and phoned Machine7 again and it's not good news the rear drums will not be in the country until sometime in the newyear

So while at work i couldn't be arsed to do anything apart from think how to get the wheels on then CLICK i remembered i bought a set of wide 5 spacers for the Crewy and never used them cos the bolts where bug ones (12mm) the same as the adaptors i got from Harvey so cut the bolts down a little bit and the rims are on

But i don't think i like them
They may grow on me and may look better when i paint the bus if not then they are gonna be up for sale

Dude I think it looks cool....spend some time with them on they might grow on you!! are you lowering the van anymore?? if so wait those sprints will look awesome tucked under your panel

The front is 3/4" - 1" lower then it was before and the rear is about the same...

Yeah Spenny i know what you mean get the narrowed beam sorted then get the front down another 1" or 2" raise the steering box ..

But i only saw it in the dark so may be i'll like them when i see it in daylight
