| Last nights work. Pull the other head off ground the valves and cleaned it up. Pull off the bottom pully so i could pull the oil pump off ready for the CB one to go in also pulled the clutch and flywheel off and i cleaned the engine with degreaser.. | |

| rich whats your clutch like?....i have one here with new thrust bearing ...clutch only done 2000 miles....plus i have another double 8 footer light if you want it for the workshop | |

| Just realised that the fan housing is a single port one so has no dog house for the stock cooler to fit in which means it's only a single port cooling fan.. Off to order a new tin ware set and a new fan i think | |

| Cheers bud I'm just leaving it the same size 1914 but stripped cleaned and reassembled the top end..
Both heads back on and valve clearance's done. But the problem i have is that the bloke i got it from said it had hydraulic tappets but alot of people said it's alot of wor to do it so it probably hasn't, but in this case it has got them and cos there's no oil in it they are spongy has hell so i'll need to run it up then cheack the valves to make sure all is alright | |

| Is there much benefit for hydraulic tappets then? In the Harley world people like to change them back to solid lifters in higher performance engines, not that I know much about it |
