Well done old bean, new MOT's all round. Loving the primer pics, have you decided on a colour yet? Rattle can it if needs be, I can get black trade spray for £2 a tin.

that's what I wanted to hear dude...........didn't know if you still had any tinkering too do on it...........but then I should have known fine tuning is no worries to you dude

Fuck the tuning it runs thats good enough for me..

The carbs do need setting up but it runs so i'll get round to it before to long.

But still got plenty of work to do on her..

Started to do some work on building the full lenght rack..
But had to stop to do the drive

Should have all the frame/metal in place by friday night fingers crossed..

The frame work is done on the roof rack just need some new slats the full lenght now..

After having the van rolled over the fuel gauge needle had melted .. I've just fitted my replacement gauge that i got for Alan (DNA reject) cheers buddy works a treat

Seeing as i stripped and rebuilt the carbs and changed the jets in them all i done was wound the mixture screws out 2.5 turns and it ran, ticks over and everything so i've just left it as it is, i'm so supprised how well she goes and can't wait till she gets tuned then rolling roaded for the power run

Glas it is all coming together dude!

Decided it was time to sort the cab floor cos the passenger side was a bit worse for wear



Then cut out.





Then the fresh welded back in.



And ground back..



And the rest of the floor cleaned up.





Now i decided it's time to remove the throttle pedal and the section of cab floor above the steering arm due to the steering box being raised i need to raise the floor slightly..

look what your doing to that new drive you wont need to seal it all that rusty metal down the cracks will do the trick

Well i've got some pics to load..

Guide coated the van ready to be flatted back then sort out any problems it shows...








Then she'll be ready for a couple coats of paint sometime over the weekend once i've got my spray booth up

Oh and as i'm sat in the house typing this Frizz is out on the drive sanding the Van down for me

quality but make sure you tell her not to go down to the metal like she did with the tinware that time
