looks like there is a few 1641 beetles in the club maybe we should get together at big bang and see whos is quickest

also i am in the process of building a little 1641 engine for the rod at the moment

cool we arnt def that its a 1641 it could be a 1600 theres no engine number either

engines in sweat as a nut but the clutch bites almost straight away and i get vibrating on the pedal thanks to rich again hopefully changing the thrush bearing will sort it

nice to here you took it for a roam

i have no idea but its 100% better than a 1300 and i can do sideways stuff now not that im any good at it

i would say 1641 but no way of telling for sure unless i strip it which isnt going to happen but it has only done 7000 miles from full rebuild

a 1641 is cool, you just need a set of twin ICTs nailed to it

Don't forget to bring it round for the tune dude

Most people use 13mm nuts to hold there carbs on ... Nails what are you like

well took the engine out fitted the other thrush bearing and put back together got soaking wet but at least its done still got the prob but its done

well thats it cant be arsed i done it all just to find ive got the wrong clutch i need the earlier one
