| I'm a little annoyed with myself tonight. The last two unit visits I haven't got anywhere. Mainly through lost tools, lost parts. I can't get the breaks to work, can't get the bottom pully off, wiring is causing problems. I will have a go at something else next time and come back to it!! Bloody car!
Thanks to matt for popping out to witness the comedy of fails! Lol

| I havent tried it yet but I think Nomates may have told me why my breaks dont work!! When I stripped and painted the front drums, I adjusted everything off and basically bleeding the breaks and when testing the shoes dont make it as far as the drum walls, hence no pedal!! I have to adjust to see if this is right, but pretty sure!! Before attempting to put the engine in, I checked the gearbox mounts to find them fooked, so replaced them. They are strange ones and were a pain but got there in the end. I got all the rubber and tar mat put back in so that if I do have an engine fire, the toxic fumes will kill me quickly! The fly wheel kept fouling on the gear box mount studs, so off came the excess with the assistance of the grinder. On the third attempt and a lot of swearing later, it went in! I rolled it to get it to sit down on the rear shocks. | |

| Thanks for last night big dave, that just might work!! I left them bonding.
breaks are ok now adjusted up!!! still a little spongy but will give them another bleeding later.
I noticed one of my handbreak cables was fooked last night, so will order some up.
I could do with a set of good condition wing mirrors as the Heritage ones are gay with white surrounds.
shes all tucked up now until I come back off holiday with Jamman.

| A few things going on in my life at the moment so no work on the bug today. To be honest, I very much doubt it will be ready for big bang and might be up for sale the moment it's road worthy. Bad times | |
