| Still can't decide on the Cal or Resto Cal look. The back has adjustable spring plates. So tweek up the arse and put a set of these on... and it's a bit more Cal like. | |

Tried to keep it as original as possible, bearing in mind half the bloody things been replaced It could be returned to stock fairly easily.

They look a bit dull in that picture. Car had just come out and they were covered in condensation. They are the real deal, came from Alex Magro in the states, he'll get you any porsche rims you like and finish them to pretty much any spec. Yeah keeping the thing clean is going to be a problem. To be honest the whole thing got a bit obsessive, but it's almost done now.

| yeah I know of Alex.....i enquired about some early 5 stud fuch a while back but ended up sourcing them in the uk....when it comes to obsession you dont have to tell me about it just remember that big engines need lots of other bits and bobs to go with it.....my fuel system cost close to 800 quid and the oil system is not far of that.....went with proper aeroquip fitting and stainless hose....it gets bloody expensive....if you need any advise just drop me a line.....as there are many things i would have done differently in hindsight | |

No I've not fitted an oil cooler, so can't help you on that one I'm afraid. I'm hoping over the course of this year to buy the parts for a bigger engine with a view to building it up over the winter for next year depending on funds... Your car close to being on the road again? Looking forward to seeing it. I'm sure you'll be taking it up to Shakespeare County Raceway to test out that big motor... right?

| I had a set of those on my 75 Sunbug. I saw a set with 5x130 pcd not long back on VZi, I wish I'd bought them now! I would even consider converting my bug to 4 stud I think...... | |
