Well I had European Recovery Cover so I could have broke down in Iceland or Malta for free recovery . . . . .but here's the thing not covered for UK so Taunton to Exeter will have to do under own funds. It justs gets better
£60 tow quote with a guy who knows me though is soon sorted . . . .so starts stage 1 of rebuild on Tuesday.

then will soon be around for VW activities once repaired.

TOP TIP break down on the continent with Euro Recovery as I would have had hotels, ferry and towage back to UK free of charge.

I use to be with norwhich union nothing but grief with them then rich put me onto the best company ever if you ask me hic

Mental aint it, im with HIC for my van as they are hopeless with all the mods, but the scort is with them.

HiC were great but couldn't cover for 1 hour in Iceland so had to change to Norwich Union. So unless i go to Iceland again I will be back with HiC c/o Adrian Flux too

Im with adrian flux now heard nothing but bad things about the company but ive had no probs with them there as good as hic but then thats cos hic now belong to adrian flux

Well HK Pete found me an engine and thats currently getting fitted. Still have an MOT to get as that runs out this month too, which is the whole reason I brought it back. What VW have you got on the road now Carl

Good news about the engine mate, currently i have no dubs on the road my bug is in the garden being fixed, its in restorations under the title rage, i currently drive a 1982 f.o.r.d escort xr3 and loving it but i do miss my dubs

Can't believe I've got back to UK but can't drive anywhere to see you all. We're keeping our money to put Clockwork Orange on the road as that vehicle is more practical for us just now than Black Betty. But keep me posted on what you're all up to

I notice you want some info on Plymfest mate its on here in general section but ive put a link on wurzels from vzi its deff gonna be better than rtts and your welcome to camp with us lot if you want to put your names on the list its £34 for 2 adults for the weekend in advance or £20 each on the day

Cheers that's good to know you guys will be there. More or less confirms my statement on Wurrzels about RTTS. Newquay can shove it and I hope Porth beach makes no money this year. As last year from all acounts LAST YEAR was 95% rain and what with Porth's strict dress code, they will probably be lucky if their still in business. I reckon there will be sheep in that campsite in 2 years time with their business customer handling management
