Rusty Busty Update

They're always worth it arn't they? Weren't gonna go this far with him but you can't see a bit of rust and leave it there can you? The only rusty bis he's gonna have are on his doors, wings and bonnet. And his roofrack. Or I could do his wheels and roof rack white - hammerite of course, to stick with tradition on him.

Excellent progress........

He's in one piece again and work is whizzing along, good few late nights, well, more than I can remember now. ignition to do, engine & starter motor wires, heater bits inside, one window mech to do and front seats and seatbelts as well. Roofrack, well the list is getting shorter anywayz.









He looks like he's ready to go. Gotta find some tyres. Gotta decide whether I want to paint his wheels (white or black hammerite or keep em rusty, or just spray 'em with wheel spray so they can rust through nicely in 6 months) and roofrack. I could go on, tea and cake though. I've got 413 photos of him now. Gonna set up a slide show thing on me puter.

He passed!! He failed but he's passed. Nipped up garage - tightened a few bolts, renewed a windscreen wiper and removed a rusty hub cap! They checked the work and gave him his certificate. He may not look it, but he's roadworthy!
At the MOT station..

Went for a drive. Heard something dodge, got out to check engine - all fine. Went home straightaway to double check though and found out what had happened....

at the mo saving for panels then gona split the shell finnish the shell of then do the chassis so awhile yet before i do some on it

maybe next month ill buy a panel and the same the month after etc etc etc ...........................

I've scanned for the first time - decided what to scan first. This is Buster before he was even done green! In Scotland. Then he drove down to Shipton all newly green.
