What i do is measure everything first, then cut the stainless pipe to the correct lenght with a grinder and saftey goggles, plug the mig in to the socket, turn on the gas set the power levels correctly clamp he eath on and whack my auto darkening welding mask on, then tac it together with the mig, then you trail fit it and if it fits ok take it back off and mig the fucker up job done... If you want a nice smooth finish you can then grind the welds down then us a flap disk to get it pretty smooth then a DA with finer disks and then wet and dry it to get it super smooth..

Still haven't sorted the photo of buckets out yet dude..

Nothings really change since the last pic i sent you dude, i'm working up in Welshpool now and have to pick my mate up in Bristol and drop him back everyday so thats about 8 hours driving a day and still have to do a days work on top of that aswell..

Fair shout dude.. I've got one jus like that they play a wicked tune.. Well worth the money..

A little update for you..

When i first got her i slammed her and chucked the rims on and the offset wasn't right and the rear tyres rubbed the arches so i beat the shit out of the to get them out the way..

This has now been put back right flipped the arch lips back to where they're ment to be and trimmed about 5mm off them so they cleared removed the rear springs to make sure i've got enough clearance when loaded up..










Then i thought i'd paint her while shes off the road so i pulled her apart inside and out.. Couple little dents needed looking.. And about 10 holes in the roof..























Got myself a new MK3 golf VR6 front splitter a bit of cutting and she's on..





And then tried the paint out on the grille to see if the colour was what i wanted..

Dude. That new front end looks the nuts!!!!

dont make excuses richard!, if your doing 8 hour driving, then 8 hours work thats only 16 hours out of 24 per day, so theres 8 hours a day left!!!

Cheers guys, but she's not gonna be done for a while i don't think due to work picking up big time but hey i'll try though..
Remember last years CTTP i finished painting the Split the sunday morning of the cruise, i think i'm pushing my luck these days though.

I'm not leaving her that low she was sat on the chassis..
If i was allowed to i would, cos it would only mean raising a bit of the chassis up a few inches and a couple mod's on the front and she'd be sat ALOT lower..
But i'm not allowed so thats that..

TBH honest i don't think it'll come out good at all could only afford crap paint so can only work with what i've got.
