| Hey guys, was just told about your group by a guy from work. I am completely new to the world of VW's, but recently bought a GP Mk2 Beach Buggy. I was just wondering if there are any more buggies floating around the Weston area? I'll probably be seeing some of you soon at the next meeting. Cheers for now SEAN |

| Thanks for the comments guys, it is pretty cool, although the photo's make it look a lot better than it does in real life!! There are a few things I wanna sort out before next summer, most of which are just cosmetic things. The interior needs to be redone, and I definately need new seats as the cobras in it are well beyond repair, doh!! Well I guess thats what the winter is for when you got a buggy On another note Mr Scoops, I noticed on your 'Club Logo Stickers' thread that you live in Belgrave road? The world is getting smaller cos I live in the adjoining road, woodstock road. Spooky huh? |

| Indeed it is a small world Mandark.......you should give us a shout sometime. As for your seats you should see if you can get yours recvovered.......might be cheaper than having to shell out for new seats. | |

| Yeah, I was thinking about getting them re-upholstered when I first got it. But then I realised that: A)The drivers side headrest is snapped of and just kinda flaps around B)They are actually damn uncomfortable!! (Found this out after driving the thing back from Leicestershire, where i bought it!! ) (PS Im the guy who drives the motorway maintenance car normally, and has a red mini cooper on the driveway. I have noticed your Beetle parked up a couple of times ) |
