| Ive been busy again this weekend, Ive got my mains hook up all sorted, the 240v plugs in under the bonnet then splits off, one way goes to a double socket inside one of the cupboards and the other goes off to an inteligent charger (charges the battery when it need a top up) so you can still run all you 12v lights ect without the battery going flat Also managed to sort out my tunes, got a 12inch sub thats hiding under the rear seat, and a 600 watt amp to give it some guts. And to add to the tricks ive got going on, ive messed about with an I Pod dock and made it fit inside the ashtray, so when you pull out the ashtray the ipod can sit in there and its all wired up to the stereo AND.. ive ran a lead from the dvd head unit to the rear so when we have got our other 12" LCD tv out they can run the same dvd and all the sound still comes through all the speaker ect.. We have decided to also take a big step and get the front and rear seats re-covered in leather.. Should look trick, but will have to see if we can afford to do it all in one hit, or wait and get the front seats done later.. Im loving the T4, im running out of idea thati can do to make it mucho's coolio!!! | |

| Ive just sold my alloys today to Pastie. I thought after the T4 weekend in north devon they are getting a bit common, so had permission to swap them over with something a little different. (I like to be a bit different from the crowd) Dont think i will see a t4 with theses one for a while to come. Also a major transformation on the inside happened today, Got my seats back from the trimmers, We are both really happy with the way they have turned out, Grey Faux leather and blue piping to match the van colour. They did the front seats and the rears so it all matches really well... Im still smiling from ear to ear when i look at them! | |

| As i aint updated this thread in ages, thought it would be a good idea. A while back i got a mate of mine make me some side bars out of 316 grade stainless steel, make the van look much harder! This week i got him to knock me up a set of roof bars too, as i really need them for transporting my 4 surfboards, as they do take up a fair bit of room when they are inside.. I also have changed the lights in the rear to LED lights so they dont draw too much electric out of the leisure battery, plus they are Colour changing, sound sensitive all singing and dancing really, which are cool as funk! Had to do a new headliner in the rear becuse of the holes from the old lights and it was a bit crappy so did it in one piece this time, instead of doing it out of hard board (which warps over time) i did it from 6mm ply, harder to use but much better in the long run. covered it in te same carpet as i used last time, looks good! Also ive done a bit of work on the ICE, Got rid of my sub under the ed and put a load of cash in to a set of VIBE 300watt 6x9's they have to be run with an amp so a Alpine V12 amp does that job real well, the new system is as good as having a sub and takes up no room at all! | |
