| Hi Dave , yes mate that would be brilliant.....My main prob is to do with how my welding looks . Could this be due to welding outside (gas blowing away) or what .I want to end up with pro lookin welds that need nxt to no grinding . Any good advice appreciated . I am looking at the 1303 as a practice run , before I get my dream motor (early bug) , so If i can improve my work so much the better before I ruin something really old and rare. |

welding outside doesn't help ......however it also depends on your welder alot ........and also using the best type of gas (argon/co2 mix) helps a lot but i'm sure dirty dave will also tell you experiance is the key dude the more you do the better you will get .........don't be too concerned as you have my uttmost respect .....because you are welding ...simple as ....what you are NOT doing is filling it full of filler (over rust) .....you get my respect any day .......because your doing it properly ,Well done Dude | |
