its got a 1.6gti on a pallet waiting to go in waiting on parts so i can get started again ive got a 4-1 manifold coming and discussing a set of twin webbers for it

Any way quick update, FAILED MOT!! but only just!

Its piddly things, latch on deck lid, split pin missing, bulbs need adjusting. Brakes passed but handbrake needs adjusting for our own safety.

BUT then he found one patch of welding on underside of frame head!! So its back in Tues for restest and not too bad for first MOT with us!!

Apparantly has had all new brake set up both front and rear!!

just one front wing fitted for the mo. WIth the weather beign good today i thought about taking the other front wing off and preping it, sanding is fine but Sam don't trust me on my own with primer spray can as i can't get the hang of it it keeps running!!!! LOL so got to wait to be 'supervised!!'

You never did tell me how you got with fitting the carpet???

gonna try and do the other two wings monday and tuesday but the finnish on the other to are rollox but not laquared yet and could prob do with a quik sand down to make it smooth ish before laquering i think
