gem is gona drive it ive got to try and sort the motor out at some point over the next couple of weeks

Well thought id pull my finger out this morning and went to do the valve clrearances took the drivers side rocker cover off and i discorved why it was running like a sack of potatoes

Well pulled my finger out today again got some bits done on the bug put another rocker shaftermebob and done the tappets it ran well for a bit doesnt idle to well but runs smoothly but then it sprong a leek out of one of the push rod tubes anyhoo some pics of the bits that went ok









had some time spare so i got the buffer out and some cloths and gave it a bit of a shine

Looks good bud be nice to find a bonnet wings and decklid that colour it shines well

mite nip in to halfords and see if i can get a paint match at the weekend.

but thats the least of the probs at the mo

got a nice little parcell monday so thought id do some work on the bug on tuesday before i went to work






but have not yet done the other side as yet, as woke up wednesday and just couldnt be bothered before i went to work

so may do it 2moz weather permitting

they was about £64 posted but ill tell you sumit fook trying to replace the seals at the side of the road absolute nightmare just fitting the bloooming thimgs
