Well weve been busy out there today!

A big thanks to Carl who came over and welded a couple of holes we found, and helped us finish off the pedals. We went shopping, got home and he had finished!!

We connected her battery and managed to get some of her lights working, (although there are a fair few that dont)!!!!!

So we finished off giving her floorpan a lovely coat of black hammerite.

Fingers crossed in the morning we can get the carpet and seats in and then think about getting her engine in.

Well someone forgot to take pics of the welding!! I got a pic of the pedals but the camera died before I could get the freshly painted floor.

Had another busy day today!

Today we managed to get the engine back together and in with a bit of help from Carl. Just need to get some things such as HT leads, fuel line etc and should hopefully get her started up in the next week or so.Heres a couple of pics

Another sucsessfull day today. We got her started up and even took her for a little spin dpwn the cul de sac!!!!

Lots unfortunatley!!!

She doesnt wanna tick over on her own, and when she dies she's a bugger to start again so that needs looking at. It also doesnt help that she is being run on petrol that is prob about 15 years old!

Most of her lights dont work so all of those need sorting.

We need to sort a number plate light as she has no popes nose.

The solonoids dont work to open the suicide doors so gotta get new ones and try to get it all working.

Wipers dont work!

Thats all I can think of at the mo but im sure there will be plenty more.

That's not too bad a list

Bella didn't want to start again today once she had stopped - found out it was the choke - there wasn't a wire going to it so it was on full choke when she was warm - hence why she wouldn't start!

These things are sent to try us!!

Just remembered her brakes need bleeding aswell as we lost most of her brake fluid when we split the brake pipe. another thing to add to the list!

Finally figured out what her running prob was, popped on Minty's old carb and she runs a treat, just wsh minty sounded that good!!

Things left to do:

Get indicators working
get main beam working
Sort brakes
Do summut with the doors, the solenoids wont pass the mot so god knows what we are gonna do!!

wow I had no idea how much youve done to her, and shes nearly at MOT stage, how did I miss all this! best of luck. :O
