Take the roof off and raise it by a couple of coarses of bricks

Hire a petrol powered stone cutter & slice two 4" trenches into the floor for your wheels to fit into!

Well f**k me sideways, it FIT!!! It as a 2 man job, as tight would be an understatement. I had 8mm from the roof to the door, and 10 cm from the front!! I'll get you a pic if I get a chance. That'll be spot on now for the winter, nice and dry.

Right, Im nearly 100% decided on going for some white walls and moon discs now. Can everyone keep their eyes out for some 14 inch moon discs, not the typical 15 inchs.

What type of white walls are you going for oilly?

i am hunting ebay for some more flappy one for the van to.

Well I'm still a bit confused about the whole white wall thing bro, because Ive heard conflicting things, some say yeah no probs, other say they have eaten their side walls away. First off I need to find a good set of 5 stud late bay wheels and tyres, got a feeling impy and me are going to come to an arrangement on some, so then it'll be white wall time. Then I'll start the hunt for some walls, those ones in the ebay link look good dude, you gona buy them?

I've seen some horrow storys about flappy walls buddy and the van had them when i got it so the first job was to have them removed yhe tyre fitter said he'd fitted loads but this was the first set he's had to take off and said he's NOT gonna be fitting any more of them.....

Go to Gary at Bay area rods buddy cos he'll turn any tyre thats done over 500 miles into a white/red wall all 4 for £50 i think.. The best way IMAO.. You know it makes sense..

Yeah to be honest I think you're right, I really don't want a blow out from behind the trim. Gary's a top bloke anyway, and I could happily drag an afternoon out looking round the rods whilst he did them.

What tyre choice do you think would look good for some steelies (for the moon discs to go on)? I like having phat at the back and smaller at the front. But want it to be sensible, not 135's etc.

I have been running them for a year now and i have never had a problem with. But i guess that it's all down to the tyre construction.

i am going to buy that set on ebay and replace the one i have kerbed. i would get bay area rods to sort them out but they but 2 of the tyres were new at the last mot so i will have to wait......

This is the tricky thing fella, you've had no probs with them, but some people Ive spoken to would never use them again. Let me know how you get on with them, I think you're right about the tyre choice.

Now theres a bloody good find dude, thats only #42 a tyre! Good lad, I'll defo bare them in mind. Hopefully this importer for UK mooneyes stuff will be bringing some 14's in soon, just gotta sit tight and wait.

Good luck with the revision dude, if it were an exam on white wall tyres and DBS you'd get straight A's.

Here's proof my van is lower than you think..... (*cough* Harv....) Getting a council garage has made my bloody month I tell ya. 8mm from the rear roof, yeah baby yeah.

I did consider it, plus I was going to 'trim' some of that wooden rafter off but my dad took the saw out of my hand before I could get at it...

Put some smoked front indicators on yesterday, which line up with the chequerboard bra, so looks uber cool from the front now.

Got some rear smoked lenses on their way. Plus got a Mooneyes sun shade on its way.
