Half of the roof bare into bare metal, the roof is bloody huge.
also the scuttle all prepped up and in to bare metal.


found a couple more small ripples/dents in the roof.

need to straighted the scuttle panel, the small dents, and finish stripping roof then into etch primer.


clockie , has the blaster come yet, as i will attack the underneath next.

nos front and rear valances should be collected from BVF.

Roof taken back to bare metal, some light rusting under the paint, from stone chips and micro blisters.

Straightened out the inner wings which were all crushed up and slight tear in the metal on the n/s/f, just need to weld up the small split.

looks like the car was lifted up on a 2 poster ramp.






Started to drill the front panel off, which seems to be coming off pretty well, but i have got to drill the lower edge now, which has quite a bit of road rash and surface rust.

either friday night or next mon/tuesday, next week should be good as clockie has bought a blaster and hopefully getting the panels.

Give me a shout if you're out there Friday, I was going to head up the Windsor but there doesn't seem to be too much enthusiasm for it....

Looking good mate! Should be collecting the front and rear panels at BVF, I have the hinges here so all should be with you including the blaster early next week

A bit more done on the front, front panel removed and inner front panel repaired, also clockie has some more pics of the front being sandblasted.

Been out a few times, lateley, been blasting and sanding so not much to report.




































found a few pin holes in the l/h/f inner wing, which will be easy to sort out. Be a pain to cut out though as its ribbon welded around the bottom.

forgot to mention, some one has butchered a hole in the n/s/f fuel tank support which needs to be welded up.


its quite time consuming getting the car stripped back, and prepped. But the car is very solid so far, only a couple of little thins cropped up.

After all that hard work of taking it back to bare metal, seems such a shame to have to paint it. Looks fab when you've taken all the paint off. Cracking work.

More blasting going on, seems to take ages, and a few holes are starting to appear, blasted the n/s/sill panel and that has pin holed a fair amount.
