I'm just lucky...put the feelers out a few months back and it's found me from Belgium, there isn't even any good used ones about so I proper lucked out.

It was one of the panels that was actually done well on my Notch.
I couldn't find one so ended up having one made!

so when are you going to make a start?

Started last night, roof repaired, welds on roof gutters smoothed out, started cleaning the seam between roof and side panels, then get sanded and etch primed.

going to need some people soon so we can lift the body onto the pan just to check it all aligns up as previous owner grafted some pan halfs in, but type 3's have a one peice floor panel.
just neet to check the bolt hole align.

Been out again tonight, straightened out the scuttle panel below the windscreen and then leaded the small dents up, cleaned all the roof gutters out and treated them for rust inhibitor.

Scuttle panel looks great, really was a worry to me.

Can I claim the bug in the corner as a barn find and keep it??

was out at the unit yesterday and took a look at the rear panel which we originally thought could be repaired, but it's in a pretty bad way..









Been digging around to find a replacement, seemingly almost as difficult to get hold of as the front one in any condition.

Finally today i've landed one. It's NOS but has been painted to protect it







This should save some time and make for a better finish so i'm happy
