Shorty's '71 Early Bay

I try not to let any of my bus out in the rain!

I've started on the interior tonight.. first job = remove the old one!

As it started:









Sink / Cooler unit & Passenger seat removed



Buddy Seat Removed



Table removed

And here's some new stuff to put into the bus when I put it all back together...

There's 15 items here (A pair, or a bag of 'things' count as 1 item).. How many can you guess correctly?

I cant work out the White thing (top right) and the 2 bags of fasteners (shiny things) above the door seals.

Isn't the white thing top right just a piece of card that holds bulbs? Cant really see on my phone.

So,

what's the plan for the interior then? complete removal or just partial?

how much are you going to change it?

make sure that you seal up that hole in the floor from the sink waste pipe...

2. Spot lamp brackets (Pair) - yes

4. Headlamps lense(Pair) sealed H4 Hella..late type so have you got tabs in the headlamp bowls?:LOL!: and are you using the existing headlamp rims.. as only will need later type with 1 screw hole fixing.. - yes

7. orange indicator bulbs (pair) - yes
8.side light bulbs - no wrong!
9. stainless indicator lense bolt kit - yes

11.front door rubbers (pair from VoWo) - no wrong!
12.Front side reflectors US spec Orange (Pair) - yes
13.Rear side reflectors US spec Red (Pair) - yes
14. packet of stainless nuts, washers, bolts 10mm ... not sure what for.. front brackets? or reflectors.. - no! Close but no cigar
15. spot lamp in cover... - not allowed! Part of the spot lamp!

You got most right (see above), although the spot lamp cover goes with the spot lamp...

As for the headlights.. I've got a repair panel on the front of my bus which has late bay headlamp bowls.. I already have the single screw rings as a result of this..

yes, but what are the bulbs for...............? no one has guessed this correctly yet!

clear indicator lenses.

you will need the mirror effect ones otherwise you will see th bulb through.

Rubber seal is for sliding door then ...

For the passenger seat there's not a problem.. the drivers side needs new late bay runners.. ARSE!!!!

Careful now!!!

First it's the late front panel, then it's the seat runners..... Next you'll be adding a brake servo, high indicators and paying road tax

I just used the ones that came with my electric Porsche seats

I've got a brake servo - mines a '71!!!

Plan: full width RnR Bed, new buddy seat, ICE, table etc etc...

Just what I'd do

Are you going to keep the headlining and panels? I just recovered mine, but need to work out a new rear overhead replacement locker to cover the gap.

I might be able to help you out there fella... I'm going tontake some measurements off mine, create 3D models and drawings, then get the parts CNC cut...

Watch this space...

I know a company that can do that from your drawings. I'll get their number.
