| Had a good day on the old girl today.. Refitted the fuel tank. Refitted the GT box and axles. Got the carbs back on the motor and gave the tin ware a quick clean. And the rear brakes back together.. Just need to bleed the brakes, fit cables, wire up brake lights, clean the over spray off everything and fit the scat shifter.... Oh and i got the motor in and running and had to make the bug turbo trip exhaust fit as well heres a little vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LX-f8GLQ6oc | |

| It does seem to run pretty well seeing that the carbs have been completely stripped, rebuild and have different jets in them and they aren't even set up yet. It ticked over straight away no probs but i haven't let her warm up yet.. | |

| Well didn't get it all done but never mind, how crap was the weather today wind, rain, wind, hail, wind, snow and some more wind...
Weld cab floor.
Rebuild steering. Finish fitting front beam. Mount front shock (some how) Fit hand brake cables, clutch cable, throttle cable and gear linkage. Fit Scat shifter. Rebuild rear suspension. Remove gearbox and shafts. Refit shafts and tubes to GT gearbox. Refit gearbox. Bleed and adjust all brakes. Rewire brake lights. Refit the 1914. Modify the exhaust to fit. Mount external filter. Route oil pipes for cooler and filter.
Fit bumpers. Finish fitting safaris.
Get the indicators working. Clean over spray of windows ect. Fit headlights. Wire up horn.
Took her out for a drive and all seems good haven't even set the carbs up cos haven't had time.... | |
